The Culloden's Fire Series

I'm a Celt by ancestry and temperament, in love with the mists and magic of Ireland and Scotland and the stories to be found there. The romance and beauty of Highland culture, and its destruction after the battle at Culloden Moor has always broken my heart. Though I've never walked Culloden's haunting length, with the stones marking the clans that fell there, I've always longed to. My collection of music is filled with folksongs like Lady Keith's Lament, Scots yearning for The King Across the Waters and the lovers exiled from their homeland for their loyalty to Stuart kings. It was my love of this period that inspired me to write The Culloden's Fire series, books about heroes who fought at Culloden Moor and were forever changed by the battle
